Our Story -

Key 2 Sale Real Estate was founded in 2016 by Principal Gail Richards, following 12 years of experience in real estate sales and a clear vision to create an independent agency that would do things differently.

From the beginning, Gail wanted Key 2 Sale to offer a more personal and considered approach to real estate – combining strong market knowledge, exceptional property presentation, innovative marketing and genuine client care to achieve the best possible result for every property.

Home staging was an important part of the original Key 2 Sale concept and helped establish a strong focus on presentation from the outset. While the business has evolved over the years, that understanding of how to prepare, position and present a property to the market remains an important part of the advice we provide our clients today.

Within the first 12 months, Key 2 Sale expanded when experienced local agent Al Lamond joined Gail as co-owner and Director. Having previously worked together, Gail and Al shared the same commitment to their clients, their team and achieving outstanding results, creating a partnership that has helped shape the business Key 2 Sale is today.

Almost a decade on, Key 2 Sale has grown into an established, award-winning independent real estate agency with a strong presence throughout Mount Gambier and the surrounding region.

Our independence is something we value. It gives us the flexibility to make decisions locally, tailor each campaign to the individual property and respond quickly to changes in the market. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Every home, every vendor and every sale is different, and we believe the strategy should be too.

Marketing has always been a major focus of Key 2 Sale. We continually look for new and effective ways to showcase our properties, combining professional presentation, digital marketing, social media, video, major property portals, our extensive buyer database and traditional marketing methods. Our aim is simple: to create maximum exposure, generate genuine competition and put our vendors in the strongest possible negotiating position.

Just as importantly, Key 2 Sale has been built around people.
